To start, this looks like any other card routine. Until it all changes.
That’s right. The spectator chooses a card out of a blue deck. Then, the deck changes, the pack changes, and their card changes! Right under their nose.
Before they know what’s happened, it’s all done.

You ask a participant to join you in a ritual to test their intuition. You start by asking them to think of a card and also to choose a card. The question is… are there any similarities between the cards? Maybe they’re both red. Maybe the same suit. Perhaps even the same value? You then tell them exactly what card they chose and exactly which card they thought of. It looks like real mind-reading.

With the cards in clear view, you give the deck a gentle wave, and half the card disappears. Another wave, and the remaining cards vanish, leaving you with just one card. You can even make it so it's their selected card.
"Level One" allows you to visually, gradually vanish a deck of cards until you're left with just one card. And this card is completely examinable.

It's the holy grail of card effects. You display a folded card under an inverted wine glass. You ask someone to name a color, a suit, and a value, to generate a truly random selection. The card under the glass is revealed to be this exact card.

Like finding a “needle in a haystack”, this impossible effect allows your spectator to find their own card in an impossibly fair way. Despite them making every decision, their final choice is ultimately inevitable.
“Inevitable Choice” will seemingly rob your spectator of their free will. You show them a deck with all different cards. They select a card which is then shuffled and lost into the deck. You then start dealing cards face down to the table. They can call “stop” as many times as they want as you go through the deck. Every time they do, you’ll cleanly place a card to the side.
You then repeat this with the smaller packet they created until just a few cards remain. They make a choice from these cards and, impossibly, it is their selected card. They made all the choices themselves, yet this outcome was seemingly pre-determined from the start. They were destined to find their own card. No sneaky switches, steals or sleight of hand are needed. Using a special deck of cards and a super tiny bit of mental work, this effect is nearly self-working.
